Laws You Need to Know if You (or someone you care about) Are Over 65-NEW!
with Patrice Putman
As you grow older, you may worry about how you can remain independent, pay for the care you need, and preserve your home and savings. Or you may be responsible for an older relative who is starting to fail and is worried about these things. In this class you will find out what laws are most important to know about, what documents are most important for your protection, and what opportunities there are to preserve your estate for you and your family’s benefit. Subjects will include: home care, nursing home and residential care; government programs such as Medicare and MaineCare; long term care insurance; protecting the spouse at home; and preserving your home, camp and savings.
