Maranacook Adult Education

Registered Maine Guide training through blended learning, using an online textbook and 10 live weekly online sessions. Focus is on learning how to guide the specialties of Recreation, Fishing, Hunting, Sea Kayaking, or Tidewater Fishing.

Course will not include needed to test for Registered Maine Guide: $55 fingerprint background check, First Aid and CPR certificate, and $100/specialty IF&W test application fee. Students need access to a computer/tablet with audio and video capabilities a printer, and a 2 degree baseplate compass.

Instructor has been a teacher in public education, adult education, online education, as well as non-profit organizations since 1968. Alice is a Master Maine Guide who is a former Guide's Board Examiner with over 20 years actively guiding in Maine.
