In this ten week course, you will explore the beauty of clay by learning to make coil pots, boxes, tiles and functional pottery. Students may personalize their approach to learning new wheel-thrown and hand building methods. Tools will be available during class. Students will be responsible for purchasing their own clay, approximately $25.

Information about the clay required will be given at first class.

Calendar Nov 7, 2017 at 7 pm, runs for 6 weeks

This class will continue the training begun in the basic class; therefore dogs and handlers should have completed at least one basic class prior to registering. The class will be tailored to the individual needs and temperaments of different breeds as well as to various levels of experience of the handlers and what each dog’s “job” is, whether he/she is a family pet or a dog that will be used as a comfort or therapy dog, or a working farm dog. This is not a puppy class. Please bring proof of current immunizations to the first class. 6-foot leash & nylon slip collars are recommended. Nylon slip collars are available on Amazon. No metal choke collars or prong-type (pinch) collars will be allowed.

Drones or Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) are all of the rage right now, with young and old alike joining and enjoying this fun and entertaining hobby. In this class, we will discuss the basics of how to go about picking out your first beginner drone, the basics of flying and how to take great aerial photos and videos.

This class requires that students complete the knowledge portion of the safety course online and also attend a face to face skills and exam day which is about 7 hours. Students complete quizzes as they work though the online course and upon successful completion are provided with a voucher number required to attend the skills and exam day. Students must also bring voucher to the first class. During the face to face skills and exam session(s) students must demonstrate that they can safely handle a firearm, participate in safe hunting activities, bring in survival kit with appropriate contents and pass a 50 question test with a grade of at least 70%.
