Beginning Ukulele - New!

$59

with Drew Albert

Calendar Sep 25, 2018 at 6:30 pm, runs for 6 weeks

Over the past several years the Ukulele has made a huge comeback. From chart topping singles such as “Riptide” and “Hey Soul Sister”, to classrooms and full blown ukulele orchestras, this instrument has so much to offer. Whether you have always wanted to learn an instrument or are looking for something new, the ukulele with its unique sound and convenient portability may be for you. This course will cover chords, strumming, fingerpicking, and personalized instruction of selected songs. It is recommended that you purchase “Hal Leonard Ukulele Method Book 1” ($6.99 on Amazon) and that you bring your own soprano, concert, or tenor sized ukulele. If you do not have one Musician’s First Choice in Augusta has some affordable ones on hand. If you have any questions, email Maranacook Adult Ed or your Instructor Drew Albert at drew_albert@maranacook.com.
