Start your new year of healthy living by walking with us in the warm halls at Maranacook!
Join us Monday-Thursday 3:30-8:30 pm.

Come in Monday-Thursday 3:30-8:30 pm and see one of our office staff to sign up. The Maranacook adult education office is located in the main office of Maranacook HS.
The best part: registered walkers are entered into a $25 monthly gift certificate drawing by walking a minimum of 5 miles a week!

RSU 38 is committed to providing fitness and wellness classes and activities to our local community members, as well as all others who want to walk a pathway to better health. Join us in taking the first steps leading to a better you!
Tai Chi for Health & Balance
Tai Chi is an enjoyable, low-impact exercise that can help to improve balance, relieve pain, increase strength and prevent falls. It is easy on the joints and good for those with arthritis and balance issues.
Cost: $45/person (20% discount for Seniors 65 & up, & Veterans)

Chair Yoga
Chair Yoga offers the benefits of traditional yoga practice without getting on the floor. Benefits include improved posture and balance, increased strength and flexibility, reduced stress and a sense of well-being. Done seated or using a chair for support, this gentle practice adapts to your needs and ability; no experience needed.
Cost: $42/person (20% discount for Veterans and Seniors 65 and older)

When Your Office is Someone's Home

WHEN YOUR OFFICE IS SOMEONE’S HOME
This three-hour course is for anyone who goes into someone else’s home to do work, repairs, estimates, sales, nursing, or outside the home contractors. How can you be safe? Learn the basics to access the surroundings, stay safe and protect yourself without using a firearm.
Part 3 of a 3-part series but can be taken separately.
