Awakening your Kundalini through traditional practices from Sri Vidya Tantra.

This course is an in-depth training in how to live and work with your life force energy - the evolutionary force within you - to bring about awakening, healing, vitality and joyfulness.Kundalini is seen as the Goddess, the sacred feminine energy, acknowledged as the creative, motivating force of the universe, around us and in us.Each week we’ll be focusing to an energy center. You will be initiated into sacred mantras, mudras, bandhas, pranayama and visualization to “wake up” the potential, the prana, in each. We will be systematically moving upward from root to crown. Each week has a plan for home practice. We will draw inspiration from the ancient yogic text the Vijnana Bhairava Tantra.This series is a culmination of years of practice, initiation and study by Susan from Yogi Amrit Desai, Russill Paul, Raja Choudhury and pilgrimages to India.Everyone interested is welcome.Due to the nature of the course, no drop ins.

This practice looks slow to the outer eye. There’s less happening outside, but more happening inside. This class is gentle, but deep. We explore our unique edges releasing resistance; we become more tolerant and flexible. We respect our bodies as they are, and their intelligence. Learn simple, but powerful ways to increase flexibility, build strength, and reduce stress. This class is suitable for seniors, for seasoned practitioners and beginners.

In Yoga Nidra, you rest comfortably lying down. It is a guided meditation experience that takes you into a state between wakefulness and sleep. The effect is that you’ll be rejuvenated and renewed with no effort. All you do is lie down and listen. Even if you drift off, your subconscious is listening. It’s said that an hour of Yoga Nidra gives the benefit of four hours of deep sleep. Give yourself the gift of profound rest! Before we lie down, we’ll do a few simple stretches. Everyone welcome!
