Needle Felting for Beginners & Intermediates: Make a Snowman!*

Tuesday, December 10th, 5-8 PM
You will make an approximate 6-inch snowman from white wool fibers to enjoy decorating with during the coming holiday and winter season. Choose to add a miniature red cardinal and faux greenery in your snowman’s arms and or make a winter hat and scarf from your choice of fiber colors to keep him “snug.”
There will be a $15 materials fee, separate from the registration fee, due to the instructor at the start of the class (cash or check). All materials will be provided.
Students between the ages of 13-16 are invited to register with a registering parent or guardian. This is a fun, very do-able activity for teenagers. There will be a storm make-up class on December 17th, if needed. Limit 10 students
Glass Jewelry Making Class

In this class YOU choose what to make: Dichroic Glass or Fused Glass Jewelry!
The Dichoric Glass students will make a unique beautiful jewelry set that reflects light by stacking metal oxides together. For the Fused Glass students you will place pieces of glass together to create two sets of pendants, pins, and earrings. View the instructors original art on the Mid-Maine Adult Education website.
Dichroic Glass Students: There is a $95 Materials Fee, separate from the registration fee, due to the instructor, check or cash, at the start of the first class.
Fused Glass Students: There is a $50 materials fee, separate from the registration fee, due to the instructor, case or check, at the start of the first class.
You will make approximately 15-20 Pieces of jewelry.

This three-hour course is NOT about installingan alarm system. It is about adjusting your awareness around you as you move through your day and your home. It is about doing mental exercises to handle the “What if’s” to keep you and your loved ones safe. Learn situational awareness, conflict avoidance, and how to access your home’s defense.

You’ll learnhow to contact the first responders, how prosecutors might view what you did, rules about concealed carry in the USand Maine, and various ways to protect yourself without using a firearm.
