Acrylic Pouring: Beginners’ Art - New!

Acrylic Pouring is an art style for people of all skill levels. This class will teach the basics of color theory and students will walk away with four full-sized pieces of art. Be prepared to get messy! Materials (approximately $40) included in registration fee.

In this ten week course, you will explore the beauty of clay by learning to make coil pots, boxes, tiles and functional pottery. Students may personalize their approach to learning new wheel-thrown and hand-building methods. Tools will be available during class. Students will be responsible for purchasing their own clay, approximately $12.50 per bag. Information about the clay required will be given at first class.

Essential Oils - Rollerball Make & Take - New!

Calendar Oct 11, 2018 at 6 pm, runs for 1 week

We will learn some basics about essential oils, and then make a rollerball combining oils with a carrier oil for a specific purpose, such as stress, headaches, or muscle pain. I will have 10 ML and 5 ML rollerball bottles for you to choose from. Supply fee will be $5 for 5 ML and $10 for 10 ML bottles, and will be payable to instructor the night of class.

Fold ‘n Stitch Wreath – New!

Stitch up some seasonal cheer! This wreath will give rich texture to your table, wall, door, etc. You choose the fabrics and /or embellishments of your liking for a season, home, workplace, or gift. This project combines sewing, folding, and optional embellishing. You will also learn how to attach a binding.

Introduction to Chair Caning

This class is intended to introduce students to materials, tools, and techniques for restoring and re-caning old chairs and broken seats. All participants will come away with the basic knowledge to pursue more skilled caning on your own.

Please bring to class: bucket, 10 clothespins, 10 golf tees, an awl, spray bottle, craft scissors, and a sponge. Caning reed may be purchased from instructor (approximately $25.) Note: This is not a weaving class; the chair you want to restore must have holes.

This 18” diameter twisted log cabin unravels the mystery about paper piecing. It’s fun and easy, and your completed project becomes a stunning piece of quilted fabric art. It is made with progressive colors of fabric. You choose the colors to accentuate your home or workplace, enrich a particular season, or give as a gift. Supply fee $5, payable in cash to Instructor.
