Learn to stitch either the Camden Bag OR the Camden Bowls with no shaping required; just sew simple, straight forward that become the walls of the bag or bowl. No lining, no zippers, no fussy construction to slow you down! The bowls make a lovely addition to anyone’s home and the bag is very eclectic. AARP Safe Drivers Course

This class, offered by AARP Driver Safety, is the nation’s first and largest refresher course designed specifically for older drivers. For more than 30 years, these classroom and online courses have taught millions of drivers proven safety strategies so they can continue driving safely for as long as possible. This class provides research-based information to help you update your driving knowledge and skills. By participating in this class, you are taking advantage of an important opportunity to learn how to drive more safely and confidently. In fact, research shows that as a result of completing the course, most people make positive changes to their driving behaviors.

Acrylic Pouring-Beginners Art

Acrylic Pouring is an art style for people of all skill levels. The class will teach the basics of color theory and students will walk away with four full sized pieces of art. Be prepared to get messy! Supply fee $40 payable to Instructor first night of class.

Adult CPR/AED and First Aid

AED/CPR and First Aid: American Heart Association

Learn CPR and how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Instructor will also teach child and infant CPR if there is interest. Upon successful completion, students will receive a two-year CPR certificate from the American Heart Association.

The AHA's Heartsaver First Aid Course is designed to prepare students to provide first aid in a safe, timely, and effective manner. Upon successful completion of this course, students receive a Heartsaver First Aid course completion card, valid for two years.

The Yoga Nidra experience is a luminous state of mind hovering between wakefulness and dream, which is profoundly healing. An hour of Yoga Nidra rejuvenates like 4 hours of deep sleep! The guided relaxation takes you into the subtle centers - the chakras- and the oils have been specifically blended for each one. As you rest, you will receive the oil in your palm, enjoy Reiki healing touch at head and feet, and hear the pure tones of crystal and Tibetan bowls.

Beginning Ukulele

Over the past several years the Ukulele has made a huge comeback. From chart topping singles such as “Riptide” and “Hey Soul Sister”, to classrooms and full blown ukulele orchestras, this instrument has so much to offer. Whether you have always wanted to learn an instrument or are looking for something new, the ukulele with its unique sound and convenient portability may be for you. This course will cover chords, strumming, fingerpicking, and personalized instruction of selected songs. It is recommended that you purchase “Hal Leonard Ukulele Method Book 1” ($6.99 on Amazon) and that you bring your own soprano, concert, or tenor sized ukulele. If you do not have one, Musician’s First Choice in Augusta has some affordable ones on hand.
